CELPIP Reading Practice
100 full-length CELPIP Reading exams, each matching the official structure: 38 questions across 4 parts in 55 minutes. Every exam is auto-scored the moment you finish, with your CLB level and a breakdown of which part cost you marks.
The four parts, exactly as the real test
- Part 1 — Reading Correspondence (11 questions, 11 minutes): an email or letter plus a short reply to complete. Tests whether you can follow a personal or workplace exchange and match tone.
- Part 2 — Reading to Apply a Diagram (8 questions, 13 minutes): a floor plan, schedule, or chart paired with a message. You apply information from the visual to the text.
- Part 3 — Reading for Information (9 questions, 14 minutes): four short paragraphs, each question matched to the paragraph it belongs to — or to “not given”, which is where most marks are lost.
- Part 4 — Reading for Viewpoints (10 questions, 17 minutes): an opinion article plus a reader comment with blanks. The hardest part for most test takers.
How to use the 55 minutes
The 11–13–14–17 split above is the pacing we recommend and the pacing these exams enforce. Most people who score CLB 7 instead of CLB 9 run out of time in Part 4, not comprehension — practising against the clock is what fixes that.
