How CRS Language Points Work
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) awards points for each language ability. CLB 10+ scores earn the maximum 34 points per ability (136 total). CLB 9 earns 31 points per ability (124 total). CLB 7 earns 17 points per ability (68 total). Higher language scores dramatically improve your Express Entry ranking.

Immigration Program Requirements
- Federal Skilled Worker (FSW): CLB 7 in all 4 sections minimum
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC) TEER 0/1: CLB 7 in all 4 sections
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC) TEER 2/3: CLB 5 in all 4 sections
